随着2020年改版后的第一次MSE考试的日益临近，新版KET考试也将很快揭开它神秘的面纱。

在2019年的时候，就已经官宣：2020年KET/PET将进行新的改革。

其中，官网介绍的改革趋势的前2条就是：

● 增加了阅读的难度和分量，对考生的英语运用提高了要求

● 更加重视考生的写作能力，给予孩子更多表达自己想法的空间

而口语和听力方面的介绍是这个亚子的：

● 口语增加了更多让考生自由发挥的空间；

● 听力方面并没有太大改变；

我们可以看出，2020年KET改革后，阅读、写作的变化是最大的。看一下KET阅读和写作部分的具体变革：

乍一看剑桥关于A2 Key/Key for Schools (KET) 的改版说明，很多人的第一反应是KET评测阅读和写作部分的题量减少了。

1. 原有的9个部分变成7个部分，56题变为32题，

2. 考试时长由70分钟缩短为60分钟。

然而仔细研究题型就会发现，新版KET并没有降低难度，实际上是在一定程度上加大了难度，使之能够与更高阶段的英语学习相衔接。

示例：

阅读的5个部分总体来说阅读材料更加倾向实用类题材，内容深度较旧版有较大增加。

删掉了旧版part2,3的匹配题和单选题。在出题形式上开始与PET题型接近。

比如：part 1（6个短篇，每题3个选项，选出和这6个短篇信息一致的选项），它和PET part1的出题形式一致，但词汇、长度，内容深度上等较容易。

简而言之，2020版KET测评在阅读和写作部分删除了重复冗余的部分，提高了对阅读技能和写作能力的要求。

三、攻略解析

★ Step 1: Focus on purpose and situation 关注语言功能和语境

★Step 2: Find out key information and use your own language to paraphrase the main message, ignoring the three options.

找出文中关键信息，忽略选项的同时用自己的语言复述文段的主旨。

关键信息：Who(何人)，What(何事)，When(何时)，Where(何地)，Why(原由)

★Step 3: Make your choice based on the summary you’ve made. Then, recap the two wrong choices to confirm your answer.

在选择完你认为的正确答案之后，需要再回看另两个错误信息，并且对错误信息进行更改，以便于检查出来错误选项的真正错误。如果你没有办法印证错误选项，可能就意味着，你的答案是不正确的。

如例题1所示：

选项A：应该是Buy shorts for a sport event; 

选项C：应该是buy games for young children。

★Step 2: Underline the key words appeared in the seven questions separately.

找出问题中的关键信息

★ Step 3: Find the sentences with the key words of the questions in the texts.  

在文章中找到问题的对应答案句，并提取出句子中含有的与问题对应的信息。注意有些问题的关键信息在文中会被替换成有相同、相近意思或否定+相反意思的表达。

以上题为例：

1. a brother, sisters – Ellie – I live with my parents,my two sisters Mel and Sue, and my little brother, Mark;

2. doesn’t like sport – Chloe – but I don’t like sports very much;

3. wants to go to university – Laura – my dad teaches at the university. I hope to study there when I’m older;

4. the oldest – Chloe – I’m 13 years old (Ellie-I’m 12 years old; Laura-I’m nearly 13);

5. has a pet – Ellie – and our dog, Rufus;

6. has a friend from another country – Laura – My best friend Anya is from Poland;

7. play a musical instrument – Chloe – All I play ismy piano.

★ Step 4: Check the answers.

需要确认一下自己选择出的答案中的信息和题目中的信息是完全对应的。有时文章中可能会出现混淆项，比如与单词本身搭配的有不同意思的短语。

★Step 1: Candidates should skim the text to find out the topic and general meaning. 考生首先浏览文章确定文章主题及大意。

★ Step 2: Next, candidates should read the text more carefully. 然后仔细阅读文章。

★ Step 3: They need to look at each question then compare each option with the text before choosing one. 阅读每个问题并在选择答案之前把每个选项与文章内容进行比较。

★ Step 4: Candidates should check the choice of answer carefully with the text again. 再次仔细检查所选答案。

★ Step 5: After choosing an answer they should check the other two options and decide why they are wrong. 检查两个未选的选项， 判断错误的原因。

★ Step 1: Follow the steps to finish this part.

①Candidates should skim the text to find out the topic and general meaning.

在作出选择前的第一步是快速浏览全文和题目，得出文章大意

②Next candidates should read the text more carefully.

第二遍阅读时，考生需要读的非常仔细。

③They need to look at each question then compare each option with the text before choosing one.

在作出选择前，考生需要讲题中每个选项放在原文空格处进行比对。

④Candidates should check the choice of answer carefully with the text again.

考生在做完所有题目中需要检查自己的答案，把所有答案代入原文中阅读全文，查看逻辑语法是否正确。

⑤After choosing an answer, they should check the other two options and decide why they are wrong.

在每小题作出选择前需考虑其他两个选项为何不对。

★ Step 1: Always read the whole text before trying to fill the spaces

填空前，务必通读短文。

The students may have a general picture of the passage by skimming it. Is it a text? Or an email? What does the writer want to do and say?

通过通读文章，可以了解大意，明确短文的问题和目的。

★ Step 2: Write the answers that you are sure about.

先把确定的答案填上。

The students can write the answers they are very sure about so that they can build their confidence and rebate their anxiety and concentrate on those where they might have problems.

学生先把很确定的题，答案写上，可以提高他们的做题信心，并把精力放在那些需要思考的题上面。

Key Information: preposition, verb phrases, tenses, spelling.

关键信息：介词,动词短语，固定搭配，时态，拼写形式。

常见的collocation如下：

★ Step 3: To analyze what kind of word is missing, (the tense, part of speech, correct preposition, etc, )

分析缺失的部分的词性。是需要名词，代词还是介词。

如何分辨preposition介词通过分析此处所需什么类型的介词，例如时间/地点/固定搭配，从而选取正确的选项article冠词通过分析此处用来连接的名词来选取争取的冠词，例如a/an/thenumber数量词
通过判断句型结构，例如肯定/否定/疑问，以及名词是否可数来判断正确的选项conjunction连接词通过前后文或上下句的结合来选取争取的连接词，例如but/and/so
pronoun代词通过前文中出现的名词来判断此处需要什么类型的代词，例如人称/物主，通过位置判断代词的词性，例如主格/宾格。

★ Step 4：Read the whole passage again to check if the words are appropriate.

最后再通读一遍，看是否文章通顺。
