前几天儿子做了一道题，

嘴里叨咕：

这道题出错了吧，

没有正确答案啊！

我没搭理，他继续叨咕：

百分百题出错了，

随便选一个吧。

题目是：在饭店里……；

A选项是“墙有各种各样的颜色。”

（a variety of 各种各样的， 

KET真题中经常考查的短语）

儿子说这个肯定不对，

原文只说了lovely yellow walls；

B选项是“总是有人在那演奏音乐。”

这个也不对，

原文只说了

there’s often someone playing the piano. 

经常有人弹钢琴；

他顺便还给我讲了

KET阶段经常考查的频率副词

（never/sometimes/often/usually/always）

的用法，

以及在句子中的位置。

排除了两项之后，

他对C选项的理解

是“那些玩意儿很好！”

friendly他知道是形容词

“友好的，和善的”，

但是他认为staff是

“玩意儿，东西，材料”，

而且还很相信自己，

因此得出结论：

这题出错了。

来，我们一起看看这两个词：

staff：n.

stuff：n.

因此C选项是“饭店的员工很友好。”
