The A2 Access level IESOL exam consists of the following tasks:

Part I- In this part of the test you are asked to match what you hear with pictures.

Part 2- In this part of the test you are asked to select the appropriate response to indicate an understanding of the context,

meaning and function used.

Part 3 - In this part of the test you are required to recognise the topic, purpose, context or gist of a spoken dialogue, also the

speakers, their relationship and/or feelings expressed.

Part 4 - In this part of the test you are required to listen for specific pieces of information in a monologue and make notes.

Part I - In this part of the test you are required to recognise how information is structured in ifferent short texts.

Part 2- In this part of the test you are required to recognise how information is structured in a text.

Part 3- In this part of the test you are presented with four different texts on a related theme and are asked to match

statements to them. You must indicate which text gives the answer to each question posed.

Part 4- In this part of the test you are presented with a text and questions fllowing each text with 4 answer -options.

Questions can test understanding of any of the following; viewpoints, gist, opinions, emotions and feelings,relationship between speakers, etc.
