An Outdoor Summer Camp

Summertime is a busy time of year for parents, students, travelers, and others because it is filled with many indoor and outdoor activities. There are many families that register their children in a camp. Summer is the best time to join an outdoor camp because many students have a lot of free time. Participants can utilize their time to learn new skills and engage in social activities. Camps usually have several members of different ages that get together to share or learn a new hobby.

I will share my experience from last summer. After many options, I decided to join Camp Manitou and I joined the cycling club first. I remember that every member of that club loved to ride their bike and so we cycled 10 kilometres a day! In the cycling club, I met some friends who liked to fish. I went to the fishing club a few times, and I liked it. Soon after I decided to join them. We went every afternoon after lunch. The best part aboutcamping was that it was not like school. The teachers didn’t collect our homework or arrange a quiz. We had fun, learned outdoor skills, and met new friends. Camp Sake was the best and I enjoyed my summer very much.
