1、表示方位的词

• in front of                  在...前面

• behind                       在...后面

• next to                       在...旁边

• opposite                    在...对面

• between ... and ...      在...之间

• on the corner (of)      在...拐角处

2、表示距离远近的词

• near      近的

• far         远的

3、表示左转/右转/掉头

• turn left                     往左转

• turn right                   往右转

• do/make a U-turn   （开车）调头

4、沿着路走

• go down    向下走；沿着

例句：Go down this road and you may see the cinema on the right.

• go straight  径直走；往前直走

例句：Go straight to the departure gate to check in there.

• go along    沿着(用法与go down基本一致)

除了go down/straight/along外，还可以用walk down/straight/along。

go与walk的最主要区别是：walk强调步行方式，而go只是说去某地，并不限定交通方式，例如：You can go there by bus。

5、走错路/反方向

• the wrong way/road   走错路

例句：

We are on the wrong way/road.

We are going down the wrong way/road.

We've taken the wrong way/road.

• opposite direction     相反方向

例句：

       The cinema is ten miles in the opposite direction.

       We turned and walked in the opposite direction.

6、在左侧/右侧

• on the left

• on the right

7、在路口

• at the end of the road         在路的尽头

• at the crossing/crossroads  在十字路口

• at the T-junction                  在丁字路口

       例句：

       Turn right at the first crossing / crossroads.

8、交通方式

• go by bus/car/train/taxi/underground

• take a bus/train/taxi/plane/underground

• ride a bicycle/bike/motorbike

• drive a car/bus
